Fabric
Why we keep choosing terry

A closer look at the looped cotton pile that makes everything softer the second week than the first.
Terry is a looped fabric. Those tiny loops are what hold air, hold water, and give a garment its weight without stiffness.
It is also forgiving. Sand shakes out. Salt rinses through. A season of wear leaves it softer rather than tired.
That is the whole argument, really: a fabric that improves with the kind of week a seven-year-old actually has.
