Our story
It started with one very sandy towel
Malibu, 2019
We wanted clothes that behaved like the towel our kids refused to put down.
Every summer followed the same pattern: swimsuits in the morning, a towel wrapped around small shoulders for the walk back, and a fight about changing before dinner. The towel always won.
So we made the towel into a wardrobe. Terry tees, button downs, joggers and cargo pants — the same looped cotton, cut like real clothes, in colors borrowed from the water and the canyon behind it.
Cove Kids is still a small studio a few streets from the beach. We test everything the only honest way: on children who are not gentle.

One fabric, chosen for a reason.
What we hold to
Four rules, no exceptions
01
Made for motion
Relaxed silhouettes and soft seams, cut for climbing and running.
02
Easy dressing
Elastic waists, pull-on shapes and nothing that fights back.
03
Beach to dinner
One outfit that works for the water and the table afterwards.
04
100% terry cloth
Every piece is made in terry — soft, absorbent, sun-friendly.
